Sexual Harassment Once Removed
I find it amazing that people assume that maybe because I went to Northwestern and have an Engineering degree that some how I must be a Republican or have "Republican" (read, anti-Black) views.
A certain individual related to us that at a certain law firm, an employee of an outsourcing firm was fired for sexually harassing an employee of the law firm; the employee had been with the outsourcing firm for 20 years allegedly.
The first thing that occured to me when I heard this story was how much money I could have made by suing that law firm and the idiot fucking secretary.
The second thing that occured to me was how could someone who is not even an employee of your company be found to have sexually harassed you?
And Third, this story further shows that although an employee could have hundreds of racial discrimination lawsuits against him or her and still keep their jobs, ONE sexual harassment charge, even from someone who doesn't even work for your company, is enough to destroy your career.
